  • MINE PRODUCTION BEGAN IN AUGUST, 1962 WITH A PROJECTED MINE LIFE OF 30 YEARS. ATLANTIC CITY MINE OCCURS ON BOTH LOUIS LAKE AND MINERS DELIGHT 7.5. MINUTE QUADRANGLES. THE PLANT CAPACITY WAS 4161000 MTPY. PROPERTY REVIEWED BY RC SMITH, 3-87. AT THIS TIME, THE MINE HAS BEEN SHUTDOWN SINCE OCT. 1983 AND IS CONSIDERED TO BE PERMANENT. THE MINE EQUIPMENT WAS SOLD TO UNIVERSAL EQUIPMENT CO. WHO IN TURN AUCTIONED IT OFF.
