  • THE SEROVSKOE BROWN IRON ORE DEPOSIT, WHICH HAS 770 MILLION METRIC TONS OF ORE RESERVES, WITH 36.64 PERCENT AVERAGE IRON, 0.2 PERCENT AVERAGE NICKEL, AND 1.7 PERCENT AVERAGE CHROME CONTENT. SEROVSKOE DEPOSIT IS CURRENTLY BEING PREPARED FOR EXPLOITATION; HOWEVER, THE REGION NEEDS TECHNOLOGY TO PROCESS NATURALLY HARDENED ORE, BEFORE WORK IS BEGUN AT THE SITE.
