Deposit CURRENT TECHNOLOGY AT THE SMELTER INCLUDES A REVERBERATORY FURNACE, TWO EL TENIENTE CONVERTERS, OXYGEN ENRICHMENT FOR THE REVERBERATORY FURNACE AND CONVERTERS, PIERCE-SMITH CONVERTERS, TILTING ANODE FURNACES, CASTING WHEEL, AND FIRE REFINING USING A TILTING FURNACE AND CASTING WHEEL FOR WIRE BARS, AND A SMALL CAPACITY ACID PLANT. CURRENT CAPACITY IS 385,000 MTPA COPPER ANODES AND WIREBARS.
