| Deposit | NIUCHANG IRON DEPOSIT IS LOCATED AT YIENYUAN COUNTY, LIANSHAN YI AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT, 432 KM SW OF CHENGDU AND 75 KM SW OF XICHANG CITY WHICH IS THE MAIN STATION OF CHENGDU-W. KUNMING RAILWAY. THE DEPOSIT IS CONNECTED WITH A MAIN ROAD TO XICHANG CITY. IT IS A SKARN DEPOSIT. THE PRINCIPAL INDUSTRIAL MINERAL IN THE ORE IS MAGNETITE. THE ORE OF THE DEPOSIT IS RICH, WITH A GRADE OF FE 50.00% AND A RESERVE OF IRON ORE OF 13.59 MILLION TONS. THIS DEPOSIT CAN ONLY BE MINED BY UNDERGROUND METHOD. |
