Comments on the geologic information

  • GEOLOGY: SULPHIDES OCCUR IN A CERTAIN STRATIGRAPHIC HORIZON BUNTSANDSTEIN IN THE VICINITY OF THE FORE-SUDETIC BLOCK. ON BASIS OF CORE METERIAL FROM OVER A HUNDRED BOREHOLES, IT WAS THAT SULPHIDES OCCUR MAINLY IN THE MIDDLE BUNTSANDSTEIN ALMO WHOLE AREA OF THE MONOCLINE, FROM RYBAKI & SWIEBODZIN IN THE THROUGH POMORSK & WSCHOWA TO BOGDAT IN THE EAST. THE PARAGEN ASSEMBLAGE OF SULPHIDES CONSISTS OF GALENA, SPHALERITE, PYRI CHALCOPYRITE. MINERALIZATION IS POOR, GENERALLY UP TO 1%. PY DISPERSED IN VARIABLE EMOUNTS IN BUNTSANDSTEIN AND MUSCHELKA SEDIMENTS, WHEREAS THE OTHER MINERALS WERE FOUND ONLY IN CAR ROCKS OF THE MIDDLE BUNTSANDSTEIN. SPHALERITE & GALENA GRAIN OCCASSIONALLY FOUND IN LIMESTONES OF LOWER AND MIDDLE MUSCHE THE UPPER BUNTSANDSTEIN (ABOUT 150M) CONTAINS BESIDE CARBONA SEDIMENTS ALSO EVAPORITES AS GYPSUM, ANNYDRATE & NALITE. THE MUSCHELKALK LIMESTONES APPX. 260M THICK, ARE DEVELOPED ANALO AS IN THE MARGINS OF THE SILESIAN-CRACOW ORE BASIN. THE OOLI CARBONATE INTERCALATION, 3-8M THICK, WAS FOUND IN THE UPPER THE SANDSTONE SERIES. SULPHIDES ARE PREDOMINANTLY CONCENTRAT THAT LAYER. THE ORE MINERALS OCCUR AS DISPERSED GRAINS IN SM AMOUNTS.
