Comments on the reserve resource information

  • INCLUDES 6,980,000 MT OF DUMP/TAILS MATERIAL AT 1.78 G AU/MT AND 4,900,000 MT OF PRIMARY ORE AT 9.3 G AU/MT.
  • LOCATED 15 KM N OF CITY OF CARCASSONE, JUST SOUTH OF MONTAGNE NOIRE. COORDINATES ARE OF CARCASSONE. OPEN PIT/UG OPERATION. MILL CAPACITY (FLOAT THEN SMELT TO MATTE) IS 280,000 MTPY ORE. ONLY MILLED 199,000 MT ORE IN 1985 (FOR 46,070 OZ AU IN MATTE). WOULD PRODUCE ABOUT 60-65,000 OZ/YR AT FULL MILL CAPACITY. A 1,000,000 MTPY DUMP RECLAIMS PROJECT WOULD ADD ABOUT 43,000 OZ AU/YR TO OVERALL OUTPUT. PROBABLY SHOULD ANALYZE FOR THE 1992 AU AVAILABILITY STUDY.
