  • MINING RESUMED IN 1987 AFTER A SUSPENSION OF OPERATIONS. THE OPERATIONS USES A STANDARD GRAVEL PUMP AS A PILOT PLANT FOR RECOVERY OF CASSITERITE-COLUMBITE FROM CLAY LAYERS UNDERLYING RICH ALLUVIUM WHICH HAD BEEN DREDGED FORM 1974 ONWARDS. RESERVES CONTAIN OVER 300G TIN PER CUBIC METER.
