Deposit THE ONAHAMA SMELTER CONSISTS OF REVERBERATORY FURNACES FOR SMELTING COPPER CONCENTRATES, CONVENTIONAL PIERCE-SMITH CONVERTERS, ANODE FURNACES, THREE TANKHOUSES FOR THE PRO- DUCTION OF CATHODE COPPER, AND A FINE CASTING PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CAKES AND BILLETS. BY PRODUCTS INCLUDE SULFURIC ACID, GYPSUM, CRUDE NICKEL SULFATE, ANODE SLIMES, GRANULATEED SLAG, AND COPPER SULFATE. SMELTER CAPACITY IS 230,000 MTPA ANODE COPPER. AS OF JUNE 24, 1994, NO CURRENT INFORMATION HAS BEEN FOUND FOR THIS PROPERTY.
