Deposit THE PRONY DEPOSIT WAS OWNED BY PENAMEX, A JOINT VENTURE OF AMAX AND PENARROYA. THE CONSORTIUM BECAME INACTIVE WHE AMAX BECAME ACCELERATED IN ITS COFFREMI PROJECT. CONSTRUCTION OF THE MILL AND SMELTER WILL BEGIN IN 1980 TO 1983. MATTE IS SHIPPED FROM PRONY TO JAPAN FOR REFINING.
