Deposit 160 ST OF ORE CONCENTRATES SHIPPED IN 1920. CAVED ADIT WITH OPEN STOPE TO SURFACE, 140 FT OF WORKINGS. ADIT IN GRAND REEF FAULT STRUCTURE TRENDING N. 25 E., NEAR VERTICAL DIP. ALTERED, BRECCIATED, SILICIFIED IGNEOUS ROCK. ORE MINERALS INCLUDE WULFENITE, CERUSSITE, GALENA, ARGENTITE, WITH ABUNDANT FLUORITE IN GANGUE. ABOUT 900 FT NORTH-NORTHWEST OF DOGWATER MINE IS A 42-FT-LONG ADIT IN A MAJOR SHEAR ZONE ORIENTED N. 18 W, DIPPING 84 SW. ARGENTIFEROUS GALENA IS PRESENT IN THE SHEAR. ABOUT 600 FT NORTHEAST OF THE DOGWATER MINE IS A 150-FT-LONG OPEN CUT BETWEEN CONTACT OF RHYOLITE AND GRANITE. GALENA, MALACHITE, AND WULFENITE ARE PRESENT IN A SMALL STOCKPILE.
