Deposit CLAIMS STAKED 1963. ACTIVE 1976. COMPOSED OF PALIGORSKITE, AN ASBESTOS-LIKE CLAY MINERAL, OCCURRING AS SMALL VEINS AND IN FRACTURES IN THE WILLOUGHBY LIMESTONE. AROUND 1000 LBS HAVE BEEN MINED FOR TESTING. JOHNS-MANVILLE REPORTED THE MINERAL TO BE EXCELLENT GRADE. MARKET NOT YET FOUND.
