Deposit CANARIACU IS A LOW GRADE PORPHYRY COPPER DEPOSIT. MINERO PERU HAS DONE LITTLE EXPLORATION WORK ON THE DEPOSIT, AND IN 1977, MINERO PERU DID NOT EVEN MENTION CANARIACU IN ITS LIST OF DEPOSITS UNDER EVALUATION FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT.
