Deposit 700000 TONS OF MAGNETITE ORE WERE PRODUCED FROM 1864 TO 1897 DEPTH OF 600 FT.WAS REACHED. OPERATIONS WERE STOPPED BECAUSE VERY SERIOUS ROCK FALL PROBLEMS, NOT BECAUSE OF EXHAUSTION.
