Deposit THIS MINE WAS WORKED BEFORE THE CIVAL WAR. THERE ARE 2 SHAFT FT. DEEP, FROM 1 OF WHICH DRIFTS WERE RUN 150 FT. EAST AND W MAGNETITE ORE WAS FOUND IN VEINS 5 TO 6 FT. THICK. ESTIMATED PRODUCTION IS 100000 TONS, MUCH OF WHICH WAS SHIPPED TO THE IRON CO. SEE ALSO JOBST, WICKERT, MOYER, AND EMAUS IRON ORE MINES.
