| Deposit | SOME INFORMATION IN THIS REPORT IS BASED ON A PROFILE EVALUFILE REPORT, OCTOBER 1978, BY J.A. HRABIK & C.P. MISHRA, FORMERLY WITH THE EFOC OF THE BUREAU OF MINES. ON THE EQUIPMENT DATA SET: TWO SHIFTS ARE WORKED IN THE MINE AND IT IS ASSUMED THAT, DUE TO TIME REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE WORK PLACE AND TIME FOR BREAKS, ONLY 6.5 HRS PER SHIFT ARE AVAILABLE FOR EQUIPMENT OPERATION; THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO 13 HRS. PER DAY. THIS IS AN ESTIMATE OF THE TIME THE EQUIPMENT COULD BE OPERATED BASED ON MAN-HOURS AVAILABLE; BUT PROBABLY NOT ALL 183 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT WOULD BE USED EVERY DAY. IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE OPERA- TION OF SOME PIECES OF EQUIPMENT WOULD NOT CONFORM TO THE ABOVE THESIS, AND, THEREFORE, NO HOURS ARE SHOWN FOR THESE PIECES OF EQUIPMENT. ACCORDING TO COMPANY INFORMATION, THE AVERAGE LIFE OF EQUIPMENT IS FROM 5 TO 15 YEARS. LENGTH & WIDTH OF MINERALIZATION ARE ESTIMATES. COMPANY STATES THAT MINERALIZATION LIES UNDER 20000 ACRES. |
