  • RELIABLE INFORMATION OF THE ORE GRADE IS NOT AVAILABLE. FROM THE EVALUATION MADE BY THE UTAH GEOLOGICAL AND MINERAL SURVEY (ECONOMIC GEOLOGY SECTION) IT MAY BE ASSUMED THAT THE GRADE OF THE SPELTER TUNNEL ORE WAS 5-PERCENT ZN AND 15-PERCENT LEAD. THE ORE QUANTITY SHOWN CAME FROM STUDIES MADE BY THE UGMS IN CONNECTION WITH OPEN-FILE REPORT 22, 1976 AND FROM UPDATED PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH UGMS (ECONOMIC GEOLOGY SECTION) PERSONNEL.
