General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit "Massive sandstone, averaging about 30 ft in thickness, is exposed over a width of approximately 400 ft and extends along the strike for a distance of approximately one mile. This bed, which strikes N50W, and dips 23SW, crops out as a hogback. The rock, as exposed, is a yellowish-gray fine grained, cross-bedded soft and poorly cemented quartz sandstone." (Bull 50, p. 78)
