Comments on the geologic information

  • THE BASIC STRUCTURE OF THE AREA IS THAT OF AN ANTICLINORIUM COMPOSED OF THREE LARGE PARALLEL ANTICLINES. THE OREBODY IS LOCATED IN AN EAST-WEST MOUNTAIN RANGE WITH VERY STEEP SIDES DUE TO AN OVERTURNED FOLD STRUCTURE. FLUORSPAR IS FOUND IN BEDDED REPLACEMENT WINGS OFF OF A VEIN-TYPE STRUCTURES PARALLELING THE STRIKE OF THE MOUN- TAIN. THE REPLACEMENT ZONES ARE AT LIMESTONE/DOLOMITE CONTACTS ADJACENT TO FAULTS.
