  • MOST OF THE CANADIAN POTASH MINES AND DEPOSTIS ARE LOCATED IN THE PRAIRIE EVAPORITE FORMATION IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF SASKATCHEWAN.
  • THE PRAIRIE EVAPORITE FORMATION IS GENERALLY FLAT-LYING, BUT GRADUALLY DIPS TO THE SOUTH. IN THE NORTH, THE FORMATION IS APPROXIMATELY 3500 FEET DEET, IN THE SOUTH IT IS 5000 FEET DEEP.
