Deposit VERY LITTLE DATA IS AVAILABLE ON THE LAS HERCULES MINE. REPORTEDLY IT IS TO REPLACE THE PRODUCTION OF THE MERCADO MINE, WHICH IS TO BE DEPLETED BY 1982-1983. THE PLANT AND EQUIPMENT ARE TO BE TRANSFERRED FROM MERCADO TO HERCULES IN TWO STAGES (1979 AND 1982-1983). A PIPELINE WAS SCHEDULED FOR COMPLETION IN 1982 TO TRANSPORT THE CONCENTRATES 308KM TO MONCLOVA. ALL COSTS SHOWN IN THE DATA BASE ARE ESTIMATED FOR THE PURPOSE OF AVAILABILITY ANALYSIS. MONCLOVA PELLET PLANT OPERATING COST IS ESTIMATED AT $8.44/MT(1981US$).
