  • CHROMITE DEPOSITS OF BANCUNGAN PROPERTY OCCUR AS MASSIVE LENTICULAR ORE BODIES, BANDED (NODULAR) TYPE ORE BODIES AND SAND DEPOSITS (RESIDUAL CONCENTRATIONS IN SOIL). OCCURENCES ARE VERY SIMILAR TO OCCURENCES AT THE OLD SILANGUIN PROPERTY WHICH WAS ABANDONED IN 1979 AND THE MILL MOVED TO PALAWAN ISLAND FOR TREATING BACUNGAN MATERIAL.

Deposit DEPOSITS (PODS, LENSES AND SAND) OCCUR SPORADICALLY OVER A 5000 METER LENGTH. DIMENSIONS ARE EXTREMELY VARIABLE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO DESCRIBE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. THE THICKNESS OF RESIDUAL DEPOSITS IS BETWEEN 3 TO 9 METERS.
