| Deposit | THE DEVELOPED DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN SULAT PROVINCE, WESTERN SAMAR. EXPLORATION HAS INCLUDED GEOCHEMICAL AND DIAMOND- CORE DRILLING. THE PROSPECT IS BEING NEGOTIATED. THE ORIGIN OF THE COPPER IS VOLCANOGENETIC OR OF THE "KUROKO" TYPE DEPOSIT THAT OCCURS AS MASSIVE PYRITIC SUL- PHIDE BODIES CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH VULCANISM. THE MINERALIZATION IS MIDDLE TO LATE MIOCENE IN AGE. |
