  • THE ROCKS IN THE AREA HAVE BEEN MARKED AS AGGLOMERATES. LITHIC TUFF INTERLACED WITH SANDSTONE WERE FOUND IN THE AREA WITH IRON STAINING. ONE SAMPLE COLLECTED CONTAINED 1838PPM ZINC AND 1686PPM LEAD. THESE VALUES ARE VERY ANOMALOUS AND UNIQUE AS VERY FEW OCCURANCES OF TUFFACEOUS RUBBLECROP ARE KNOWN IN THIS AREA.MANGENESE WAS ALSO FOUND TO BE 1009PPM IN THE SAMPLE.
