| Deposit | RECORDS 800-812 OF 1976 ENTRY CONFID. REPT.- GENERAL INFO. FOR ALL RECORDS IN THIS FILE. BULL. 940-J - GENERAL INFO. FOR ROCK AND DEPOSIT CHAR., COBA RECORD 050/ THE BUREAU OF MINES EXAMINED THE DEPOSIT AND SAM THE CLAY IN 1949. RECORD 080/ DEPOSIT IS DESCRIBED AS MN-ORE PELLETS AND WAD O RING IN CLAY. THE CLAY IS PRESENT OVER MOST OF THE PROPERTY ACRES - 16 HECTARES) AND IS 10 FEET THICK. PELLETS RANGE FR SAND-SIZE TO 1/2 INCH IN DIAMETER AND, ACCORDING TO PIERCE, FROM THE SURFACE TO DEPTHS OF 2-4 FEET. WAD WAS OBSERVED IN BUNCHES AND SEAMS IN THE CLAY. COBALT IS BELIEVED TO HAVE B DEPOSITED BY GROUND WATER AND IS ADSORBED ON LITHIOPHORITE, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH DATA TO CALCULATE ALL MIN. ZONE DIMENSIO |
