  • This record was confused with Cold Spring tungsten mine in Boulder County tungsten district, north of Barker Reservoir, and about a mile NE of Nederland. A.B. Wilson has attempted to remove the information relating to the tungsten from this record.

  • Cold Spring and Red Cloud veins, nearly parallel, 35 to 50 ft. apart near surface, separated by porphyry dike. Veins strike N40-45E, dip 78NW to vertical, are 2 to 12 ft wide. Veins converge downwards and join at a depth of 470 ft. (PP-223, p. 254)
