| Deposit | PLANT IS LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF ONAHAMA. *ONAHAMA PLANT STARTED IN 1963 AT 6000 MTPY. PLANT EXPANDED TO 36,600 MTPY IN 1986, AND EXPANDED TO 43,200 MTPY IN 1987. *PLANT PRODUCED 40% OF ITS OWN ELECTRICITY AND ALL ITS STEAM. *SULFURIC ACID, LIME, LIMESTONE ARE ALL PURCHASED LOCALLY. FINISHING CHEMICALS ARE PURCHASED FROM WITHIN JAPAN. *DRINKING AND PROCESS WATER COMES FROM THE LOCAL PREFECTURE. COOLING WATER IS OBTAINED FROM THE OCEAN VIA PIPELINE. *TRANSFORMER SUBSTATION IS CLOSE TO THE PROPERTY. *THERE ARE NO ACCOMMODATIONS FOR PERSONNEL AT THE PLANT. |
