  • IN 1917 SEVERAL CARLOADS OF HIGH GRADE MANGANESE ORE WERE SH FROM THIS MINE, AND IN 1918 SEVERAL HUNDRED TONS WERE SHIPPED TOTAL PRODUCTION FROM THE MINE WAS 3000 TONS CONSISTING OF 2 TONS OF PLUS 40 PERCENT MANGANESE ORE, 500 TONS OF MINUS 40 PERCENT ORE, AND 300 TONS OF MANGANIFERROUS IRON ORE.
