  • The original PLSS coordinates for this site do not match the latitude/longitude coordinates. The PLSS coordinates do lie in the stated county (Lawrence) but the lat/long coordinates do not. Most iron deposits in Indiana occur in Lawrence County and therefore the PLSS coordinates are most likely correct. Thus, the lat/long coordinates were changed to match the PLSS coordinates (and the county). New lat/long determined using USGS GNIS topo maps.
