Comments on the workings information

  • PROPERTY FIRST DEVELOPED BY OPEN PIT & SURFACE ADITS. FROM BARNES KING, AN INCLINED & A VERTICAL SHAFT DRIVEN TO MAIN ORE BODY. A 3700 FT. ADIT DRIVEN OFF TO HORSESHOE & MULESHOE CLAIMS. THE LOWER LEVELS OF N. MOCCASIN MINE DEVELOPED FROM 400 LEVEL OF BARNES - KING. PRODUCTION HAS BEEN MAINLY FROM THE LARGE OPEN PITS, ESP. THE KENDALL AND BARNES - KING PITS. NUMEROUS SMALL OPEN PITS ARE LOCATED ALONG THE MINERALIZED ZONE. UNDER GROUND WORKINGS WERE ALSO EXTENSIVE, BUT LITTLE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE.
