| Deposit | SEE MANHATTAN GULCH PLACERS FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION. (0320230398). SURVEYED FOR THE WOLFTONE EXTENSION MINING CO. IN 1909. NOT PATENTED. NINE SHAFTS TO BEDROCK YIELDED SOME OF THE MOST HIGHLY CONCENTRATED AREAS OF PLACER GOLD FOUND IN THE GULCH. MOST SHAFTS WERE 60 TO 70 FEET DEEP. COMPLETE NAME OF DEPOSIT: SUNRISE, AFRICAN AND CORNUCOPIA FRACTION PLACERS. |
