  • Mine is underground. Sandstone is 230 ft. below surface. Front end loader scoops friable sandstone from tunnel faces, hauls to container where it is mixed with water. The slurry is pumped to the wet plant for washing and sizing, then to the dry plant for drying and screening. (2014 Annual Report, p. 39)
