Comments on the geologic information

  • MOST CANADIAN POTASH MINES AND DEPOSTIS ARE LOCATED IN THE PRAIRIE FORMATION OF SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN. THE PRAIRIE EVAPORITE FORMATION IS GENERALLY FLAT-LYING, BUT GRADUALLY DIPS TO THE SOUTH. IN THE NORTH, THE FORMATION IS APPROXIMATELY 3500 FEET DEEP, AT ITS SOUTHERN END IT IS 5000 FEET DEEP.
