Comments on the location information

  • Mansfield shows 2 deposit areas in T27N, R119W in secs. 19 and 31. In Sec. 31, he notes (see p. 28) that there are several prospects and a NE-trending tunnel opened by the San Francisco Chemical Company.
  • Location was given as sec. 15 and coordinates were for a position in that section, about 3 mi. too far NE. A.B. Wilson moved location to site shown on Mansfield's pl. 53 in Sec. 31. Original record only cited Bull. 50, which reports the location only to the township, not section.
