Deposit MINE DIVIDED INTO WUTANKENG MINE ON EAST & TATSUKENG MINE NO FACILITIES: EACH MINE HAS WORKINGS TOTALING MORE THAN 15KM L SEPARATED INTO 10-16 LEVELS IN A VERTICAL DISTANCE OF 300M. ACCESSIBLE WORKINGS ARE MOSTLY WORKED OUT. TRANSPORTATION: 3 PUSH CAR RLWY CONNECTS THE WUTANKENG MINE WITH THE WUTANKENG GEOLOGY: AREA LOCATED ON S.E. FLANK OF THE HOUTUNG ANTICLINE TRENDING NORMAL FAULTS DISSECT BOTH MIOCENE ROCKS AND PLEIS. HOST ROCK: AUGITE-HORNBLENDE-BIOTITE DACITE. ORIGIN: EPITHER ANNUAL PRODUCTION: 1965 30-40KG AU. MINING METHOD: AMALGAMAT SUBORDINATELY BY CYANIDATION. RESERVES: 1950 414,152MT, AVE. CONTENT 49MT & GRADE. GOLD ORE RESERVE FIGURES ARE ESTIMATES BECAUSE EXACT AMOUNT MINABLE CANNOT BE DETERMINED BECAUSE OF ERRATIC DIST.
