Comments on the geologic information

  • THE PYROCHLORE MINERALIZATION IS COARSER AND MORE CONSISTENT IN THE CARBONATITE THAN IN THE FENITES.
  • THE DEPOSIT IS A CARBONATITE PLUG. THE GNEISES HAVE BEEN HIGHLY FENITIZED SURROUNDING THE CARBONATITE. NINE ZONES DIVIDE THE DEPOSIT. THEY ARE: BARBARA, MUSEUM, CHINI, KATI, CHUMA, BAKERA, MSTARI, MTONI, AND KUNJA

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • THE GRADE OF THE ORE IS UNKNOWN. SEVEN SAMPLES WERE TAKEN, THE GRADE RANGED FROM 3.15% TO 10.57% P2O5.
  • IT WAS NOT CLEAR FROM THE RESOURCES REFERENCE HOW THE RESERVE ESTIMATES OF THE 5 ORE ZONES (RECORDS 1-5) RELATE TO THE TOTAL 49.2 M MT OF "DRILL-INDICATED" ORE RESERVES ESTIMATE, OF RECORD 6. SAME REFERENCE AS ABOVE.
  • 1.2 KM SOVITE-RAUHAUGITE CORE, PYROCHLORE DEPOSIT ALSO 3,450,000 MT OF FENITE AT 0.79% NB2O5-1957 RESOURCE IN RECOVERABLE METRIC TONNES REO (RARE EARTH ELEMENTS). SPECIALIST SAYS RARE EARTHS ARE ALSO POTENTIALLY RECOVERABLE
  • Q-MATRIX RECORDS 1 AND 2 ARE THE ESTIMATED IN-SITU ORE RESOURCES USED IN THE 1982 PROPERTY EVALUATION AND EDT. THE GRADE IS IN TERMS OF % ELEMENTAL NIOBIUM (NB/CB), NOT NB2O5/CB2O5.
