THERE IS NOT ENOUGH DATA TO CALCULATE SURFACE AREA DISTURBED REC 050/ TWO CARLOADS OF MN ORE WERE SHIPPED IN 1918. WORKIN SIST OF 3 OPEN CUTS AND PITS EXTENDING 200 FT UP THE HILL. P WAS ONLY MN MINE IN A GROUP OF MINES FIRST WORKED FOR IRON I PROPERTY WAS EXAMINED AND SAMPLED BY PIERCE IN 1943. REC 080 MN-CO ORE FILLS FRACTURES IN BRECCIATED SANDSTONE O CURRS AS NODULES IN RESIDUAL CLAY DERIVED FROM THE SHADY DOL COBALT IS ADSORBED ON LITHIOPHORITE AND/OR HOLLANDITE AND IS LIEVED TO HAVE BEEN DEPOSITED BY GROUND WATER WALL ROCK PAR REPLACED BY ORE.
