Deposit RECORDED PROD. BEFORE 1931: 34 OZ AU, 4 OZ AG (USBM FILES). BEDROCK IN AREA IS MOSTLY SCHIST (CHLORITIC AND PHENGITIC), MARBLE, LIMESTONE AND DOLOMITE. PLACER GOLD PROBABLY DERIVED FROM QUARTZ-CALCITE VEINS COMMON IN AREA (SAINSBURY).
