Deposit ORIGINALLY STAKED IN 1923;RESTAKED IN 1937 & IN 1958. CONSIDERED INACTIVE IN 1977. RESERVES BASED ON DATA FROM B1403. MINING WIDTH 3 FEET. CONSISTS OF A QUARTZ BRECCIA ZONE IN ARGILLITE & GRAYWACKE. QUARTZ & PYRITE OCCUR WITH SMALL AMOUNTS OF SPORADICALLY DISTRIBUTED GALENA,SPHALERITE & CHALCOPYRITE. ZONE EXPOSED ON THE E & W SIDES OF A STREAM. THE EAST ZONE OUTCROPS FOR ABOUT 295 FT.; WIDTH RANGES 1.2-3.5 FT. THE WEST ZONE HAS MINERALIZATION SIMILAR TO THAT FOUND IN THE EAST ZONE, BUT ASSAY VALUES ARE LOWER. WORKINGS COMPRISE 5 SHORT ADITS & SEVERAL SHALLOW OPEN CUTS.
