Comments on the production information

  • ACTUAL RECOVERIES FOR THE ACID GRADE FLUORSPAR CONCENTRATE (PA) AND THE BRIQUETTES (PB) ARE 44.5 AND 43.6 PERCENT, RESPECTIVELY, FOR THE FLOURSPAR. ACTUAL SIO2 ORE-TO-CONCENTRATE RECOVERY FOR CONCENTRATE-TO- BRIQUETTE RECOVERY IS 0.306 PERCENT. SIO2 IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE FROM THE FLUORSPAR CONCENTRATE TO THE BRIQUETTES BECAUSE OF IMPURITY SIO2 CONTAINED IN THE CA(OH)2 ADDED AS ONE OF THE BRIQUETTE BINDER MATERI- ALS.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • NO PUBLISHED OZARK-MAHONING RESERVE DATA COULD BE FOUND AT THE TIME OF THIS 1982 MAS PROPERTY EVALUATION. There are no reported reserves.

Comments on the workings information

  • RAW WATER IS PUMPED TO THE FLUORSPAR VEIN PROPERTIES AND THE ADJOINING NORTHGATE MILL FROM TWO SOURCES: (1) A 15 CENTIMETER DIAMETER, 1830 METER WATER LINE BRINGS WATER FROM PINKHAM CREEK WHICH IS SOUTH OF THE PROPERTY. THIS LINE HAS A 10 CENTIMETER BACK-UP LINE. (2) A 20 CENTIMETER LINE BRINGS WATER 5490 METERS FROM THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER. CLAIM PATENT DESCRIPTIONS DESCRIBE THE MINING DISTRICT AS THAT OF COPPER RIDGE, A NAME FORMERLY APPLIED TO A LARGE, INDEFINITE AREA IN NORTHERN COLORADO AND SOUTHERN WYOMING. THIS NAME HAS BEEN DROPPED FROM LOCAL USAGE, AND THE MORE RESTRICTED AREA IN THE VICINITY OF THE FLUORSPAR DEPOSITS NOW IS CALLED THE NORTHGATE DISTRICT, AFTER THE SHIPPING POINT OF NORTHGATE ON THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD.
