  • NOTE: THERE IS A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE GIVEN (ESTIMATED?) LEGAL LOCATION (T. 1 N., R. 47 E.) AND THE NARRATIVE LOCATION. ACCORDING TO THE FILE, THE PROPERTY CAN BE REACHED BY FOLLOWING HIGHWAY 6, EAST FROM TONOPAH, 35 MILES TO FIVEMILE TURNOFF. A ROUGH DESERT AND MOUNTAIN ROAD IS TRAVELED SOUTH AND EAST 17 MILES TO THE PROPERTY. THE CLAIMS ARE LOCATED IN THE LOW FOOTHILLS ON THE WEST FLANK OF THE KAWICK [SIC] RANGE AT AN ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 7,000 FEET. AS THE STINKING SPRING 7.5-MIN. TOPO MAP SHOWS NUMEROUS UNNAMED MINES AND PROSPECTS IN THIS AREA, AND NO DEFINITIVE LOCATION IS GIVEN, THIS RECORD LOCATION IS APPROXIMATED.
