IT IS LIKELY THAT TWO OR MORE OPERATORS HARVESTED SAND & GRAVEL FROM THE SAME SOURCE. IN OTHER YEARS, THESE OPERATORS HAVE BEEN REPORTED AT A SITE IN SEC. 18, T. 21 N., R. 19 E. THE RENO NE 7.5-MIN. TOPO MAP SHOWS TWO LARGE SANDPITS IN THE NE/4 SEC. 23; IN ALL LIKELYHOOD, THIS RECORD REPRESENTS ONE OR MORE OF THESE PITS.
