Subject category Comment text
Deposit original MAS database has 3 entries for Waterloo 1 (0560070457 MAS, 10303347), Waterloo 2 (0560070458 MAS, 10304758), and Waterloo 3 (0560070459 MAS, 10181797 newMRDS). All refer to the same citation on page 44 of Bull. 50 (1966 version). There is nothing in the source material to suggest that there are multiple deposits here. The location given in the reference is vaguely described as the SE part of T16N, R80W without specifying a section. Sec. 26 would be closest to the center of the SE part of that Township/Range. Prior to editing, the PLSS stated the mine was in Sec. 25 yet it plotted in sec. 36.
Deposit An outcrop of limonite- and copper carbonate-stained quartzite has some copper sulfides.
