Deposit COST DATA FOR THIS PROPERTY WERE GATHERED UNDER BUREAU OF MINES CONTRACT J0225019, "THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENGINEERING AND COST DATA FOR FOREIGN GRAPHITE PROPERTIES"; THE CONTRACT WAS AWARDED TO ZELLARS-WILLIAMS, INC. IN SEPTEMBER 1982. ALL CAPACITIES SHOWN IN THE S, K, AND P DATA SETS ARE AT THE 1983 PRODUCTION LEVEL DESPITE THE FACT THAT THERE IS A SMALL INCREASE IN PRODUCTION FROM 1982 TO 1983. THE OP. COSTS DO NOT CHANGE FROM 1982 TO 1983 BECAUSE THE INCREASE IN PRODUCTION IN 1983 IS JUDGED NOT TO HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THEM. THE OP. COSTS WERE ACTUALLY CALCULATED BASED ON THE 1983 PRODUCTION LEVEL BY THE MINERALS AVAILABILITY FIELD OFFICE USING THE BUREAU OF MINES COST ESTIMATING SYSTEM (CES). THE OP. COSTS CALCULATED BY ZELLARS-WILLIAMS ARE NOT USED.
