  • TOTAL NICKEL METAL OUTPUT CAPACITY IS APPROXIMATELY 131 TONNES PER DAY OR 45,850 TONNES PER YEAR. COPPER METAL OUTPUT CAPACITY IS 15.1 TONNES/DAY OR 5285 TONNES/YEAR. COBALT METAL IS 2.8 TONNES/DAY OR 980 TONNES/YEAR.

  • THE TWO CONCENTRATORS LISTED HERE REPRESENT EACH OF TWO INPUTS, THE FIRST FROM THE HARJAVALTA FLASH SMELTER, AND THE SECOND FROM THE KALGOORLIE SMELTER. OUTPUT FROM EACH IS THE INPUT CAPACITY FOR ITS CORRESPONDING CONCENTRATOR. TOTAL INPUT CAPACITY TO THE REFINERY IS APPROXIMATELY 200 TONNES MATTE PER DAY.
  • THE HARJAVALTA REFINERY PRODUCES CATHODE NICKEL, COPPER, AND COBALT METAL. COBALT HYDROXIDE HAD BEEN AN INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT SHIPPED TO THE KOKKOLA REFINERY. HOWEVER, RECENT SOURCES DO NOT ENGAGE THIS TOPIC.
