  • THIS GROUP OF HIGH ALUMINA KYANITE ORES HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PROVIDE ALUMINA WITH A GRADE OF UP TO 57% AL2O3. KYANITE IS CLASSIFIED IN THREE GRADE RANGES: HI- +40%; MID- 30-40%; AND LOW- -20%. THE KIEV DEPOSITS HAVE VAST RESERVES, WHICH IN SCALE HAVE NO EQUAL IN THE WORLD AND EXCEED ALL OTHER DEPOSITS TAKEN TOGETHER. (SMIRNOV, 1977)
