Deposit ORE FORMATION EXTENDS AS A BELT FROM THE SITE OF LAUTIN SOUT RD FOR MANY KILOMETERS. MN-BEARING FORMATION IS OF VARIABLE SS. DURING 3 MONTHS OF OPERATION IN 1947, 25% OF THE MN SOIL SHED TO SHIPPING GRADE. AVERAGE CONTENT OF CONCENTRATE WAS B HAN 48% MN. NODULAR ORE, 3 TO 12 INCHES IN DIAMETER, ASSAYED N 50-55% MN & FORMED ABOUT 30% OFTHE CONCENTRATE. THE REST, ING OF FINES, ASSEYED FROM 25 TO 47% MN. PRODUCTION IN 1953 23 TONS, ASSAYED AT 45% MN, 5% FE, AND WORTH P142,664. THE E VALUE OF THE REMAING RESERVES IS 725,000. COST OF PRODUCTION ON OF ORE IS P$57.85.
