Deposit IRTYSHSK IS A CU SMELTER IN KAZAKHSTAN APPARENTLY USED BY THE FOLLOWING MINES: NIKOLAIEVSK, LENINOGORSKI, ZYRIANOV- SKI, ZOLOTUSHINSKI, BELOUSOVSKI AND BERIOZOVSKI. THE PLANT IS IN A FLAT REGION CLOSE TO A RANGE OF HILLS 35 KILOMETERS WEST OF UST-KAMENOGORSK. THE CLIMATE IS DRY AND CONTINENTAL. THERE IS A LEAD OXIDE PLANT NEARBY. THE UST-KAMENOGORSK LEAD AND ZINC COMPLEX, UNDER THE SAME MANAGEMENT, IS ONLY 35 KILOMETERS AWAY.
