Comments on the geologic information

  • SORIDAG CHROMITE ORE FIELD IS 10.4 SQUARE KM IN AREA. THE DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF A NUMBER OF LENS-SHAPED VEINS OCCURRING AS CHROMITE SEGREGATIONS IN PERIDOTITE. G-RECORD REFLECTS AVERAGE DIMENSIONS FOR WHAT THOUGHT TO BE THE FOUR MAJOR DEPOSITS IN THE SORIDAG AREA- UZUN DAMAR, DAMAR, YUNUS DERESI/YUNUS YAYLA, AND KODIN.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • OPERATING CO. IS SARKKROMLARI ISLETMESI GROUP OF ETIBANK. COORDINATES ARE OF MILL. FOR ANALYSIS: 133,700 MTPY ROM FOR: 21,920 MTPY CONCS.AT 48 % CR2O3, 47,770 MTPY LUMP AT 45.3 % CR2O3, 10,810 MTPY LUMP AT 47 % CR2O3 AND 43,700 MTPY LUMP AT 46.5 % CR2O3. ALL PRODUCTS TO THE ELAZIG SMELTER.
  • RESOURCE TONNAGE IS BASED UPON TONNAGES REPORTED BY ETIBANK. IT IS NOT POSITIVE EXACTLY WHICH DEPOSITS THE TONNAGE REPRESENTS, HOWEVER, THE TONNAGE MATCHES CLOSELY WITH TONNAGES THAT WOULD BE AVAILABLE FROM FOUR MAJOR SEAM DEPOSITS DESCRIBED IN 1965- UZUN DAMAR, AYI DAMAR, KADIN, AND YUNUS DERESI/YUNUS YAYLA. EXTRAPOLATION DOWN DIP OF ONLY 1/5 OF REPORTED STRIKE LENGTHS FOR THESE FOUR PROPERTIES INDICATES ABOUT 6.5 MILLION TONS IN-SITU WHICH, AFTER SUBTRACTING OUT ESTIMATED PRODUCTION WOULD GIVE A TONNAGE IN THE VICINITY OF THE REPORTED RESOURCE. M1C1 = M9C4
  • 1/89 INSITU DEMO.TONNAGE = TOTAL FOR UZUN DAMAR, AYI DAMAR AND 8 OTHER OREBODIES. ALL UG MINING WITH 100 % RECOVERY.
