THIS ORE IS TRANSPORTED BY RAILWAY TO THE FERRO-CHROME PLANT AT ELBASAN FOR SMELTING. THE INDICATED CHROMITE RESOURCES IN THIS DISTRICT (LIBRAZHD- POGRODEC) ARE ESTIMATED AT 5 MILLION TONS.
