Deposit ZHANGLA GOLD DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN SHUNPAN COUNTY, IN THE TIBETIAN AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT, 10 KM NORTH OF THE COUNTY, 232 KM NORTH OF CHENGDU. THERE IS A MAIN ROAD FROM CHENGDU TO THE DEPOSIT (VIA SHUNPAN COUNTY). THE DEPOSIT HAS A SEDIMENTAL ORIGIN OF TERTIARY AGE. THE GOLD IS PLACER IN THE ALLUVIUM OF THE MINJIONG RIVER WITH THICKNESS OF 5-10 M. ESTIMATED RESERVES ARE 10.40 TONS AU AT 0.32-0.76 GM/CUBIC METER OF ORE. MINE CAPACITY UNKNOWN. PROPERTY ACCESS: CHENGDU-SHUNPAN MAIN ROAD.
